My psychotherapy practice is not an emergency service, and I do not provide out of hours support or contact.

If you are in crisis or are making plans to end your life please find below a list of all the support services in in East Kent.

  • Call Kent and Medway’s Single Point of Access on 0300 222 0123 (24/7) or text 07860 022819 (8am-10pm)
  • Or call the Mental Health Matters team on 0800 107 0160. Free, confidential and open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
  • Thanet Safe Haven on 07850 655877 6pm – 11pm 365 days or email thanet.mhm@nhs.net. If your usual sources of support are closed Safe Haven in Thanet offers mental health support to Kent residents aged 16+, including healthcare professionals.
  • East Kent Mind 0795 060 8827 or visit their website
  • Wellbeing line 0203 912 0032 is open Monday – Friday 2pm-5pm and Sunday 6pm-10pm

Women can call The Freephone National Domestic Abuse Helpline, run by Refuge on 0808 2000 247 for free at any time, day or night. The staff will offer confidential, non-judgemental information and support

For email for support, she can contact Women’s Aid (a different charity to Woman’s Trust). Women can email helpline@womensaid.org.uk. Staff will respond to your email within 5 working days

The Survivor’s Handbook from the charity Women’s Aid is free and provides information for women on a wide range of issues, such as housing, money, helping children, and legal rights.
